Ahmedabad

  • Geeta Mandir is the local & ST Bus stop.

  • Kalupur Rail way station & Ahmedabad Junction is the same railway station

  • From Kalupur Station take any road you will reach Jamia Masjid or Market area.

  • Make hard bargain to the auto drivers.

  • You will get buses from any where in Gujrat from Geeta Mandir Bus stop.

  • There was another bus stop near RTO

  • Auto fare is roughly Rs. 10/- per KM

  • Geeta Mandir to Gandhi Nagar Bus fare Rs. 37/-


Gandhi Nagar

  • Swaminarayan Akshar Dham temple opens at 11:00 am
  • Near Swaminarayan Akshar Dham temple, some roadside shop has a good collection of local dress.

Bhuj

  • Nilkunth Bhuvan is recommended place to stay with fooding provision.
  • Reach bus stop before bus timing as buses leave the stand before time.
  • For Mandvi: lots of buses maximum 1hr time gap between two buses
  • For Koteswar: first bus 5:30 am, next 7:30 am
  • People are trust worthy & honest.
  • People not ready to take Rs. 10/- coin


Dwarka

  • Dwarka darshan (4 stops: Rukhmini Temple, Gopi Talav, Beyt Dwarka & Nageswar Temple) Rs. 100/- per head
  • The tour guide asks for money by making you sentimental.
  • Two darshan time is available, but morning one is preferable.
  • Dwarka to Somnath Bus fare Rs. 136/- per head
  • The road goes towards Dwarka Bus stand to Dwarka temple, there is a shop where Lunch & dinner (roti, rice & two types of sabzi & food is unlimited) charges Rs. 55/- per head & breakfast Rs. 15/-

Somnath

  • Near Somnath Temple Hotel charges are as low as Rs. 200/- only basic facility, no AC, TV.
  • Somnath Trust provides food charging Rs. 40/- per head.
  • In Somnath Market, bargain hard.
