Taklakot Again
5th July 2018: Today our plan was to leave Qugu & reach to Taklakot. So we started our journey at about 8:00 am after breakfast. After half an hour of the bus journey, we reached a place which was in between Rakshas Tal & Mansarovar lake. The two lakes were opposite one another. There were some boulders along with some buffalos horn. Though the lake was quite far from each other we got the view of both the lakes. We took several pictures from that place. Some experienced person told that this was the last view of Mansarovar. Then our guide asked us to board the bus & the journey was continued.
We reached Taklakot at about 11 am. Suraj told us to take the same room as the last time we took. Our main luggage was handed over. After taking bath, we went to the nearby market. The same market, where we already stroll before. Some brought some bangles, Enakshi & I brought some souvenir. We went to the far end of the road, crossed some police station, some administrative house.
In the evening, we packed our main luggage & submitted to the luggage committee. Our LO declared that tomorrow we would start our Journey towards Lipulekh pass at about 8 am & reminded that the luggage weight constraint again. Everyone has more than 2 kg extra weight as everyone took Mansarovar water of more than 1 lt. I came to know Ashok Radiaji took approx 50lt water. Enakshi, Soma & I took only less than 3 lt.
Everyone tried to share their extra luggage with those who had less luggage. Arvind helped me to pack my main luggage also as someone took my extra rope.
At about 8:00 pm I went to the dining room & took my dinner. At that time I, along with Arvind & Smiriti, got a call from Suraj, to come near the immigration office.
We finished our dinner & went to the specified place where one of the members of Suraj's team was waiting. He asked us to follow him. We went to some hotel where Suraj give us the farewell party. There were 5 members from our Group. Our LO Narayan Kutty, Shruti, Arvind, Sakhshi, Smiriti & I. There was 2 non-veg dish & some veg dishes along with rice.
I preferred the non-veg dish. It was really awesome. After the extended dinner we came back our hotel at about 10:30pm & went to bed.
