Kailash Mansarovar Subsidy
Some of State Government provides benefits to religious organizations, specifically exempting them from certain taxes and providing a wide array of subsidies to religious pilgrimages. Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on 25th Mar’18 announced doubling of financial grant given to pilgrims of Kailash Mansarovar from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh. Yogi also said that the state government will get a Mansarovar Bhawan constructed somewhere near Delhi or any other state for the benefit of the pilgrims.
